Washington, DC - Following the release of never-before-seen footage from inside the Capitol during the January 6th Capitol protest, Nancy Pelosi was nominated for Best Actress for her role in the film Inside Job: The January 6th Capitol Riots at the primetime Emmy Awards. Submitting the film in the category for Outstanding Fake News, the Speaker of the House said she was expecting the movie to perform well against its competitors.
“The other entries in this category were strong this year,” said Speaker Pelosi. “I’m really only worried about Dr. Anthony Fauci’s role in How to create a pandemic and destroy the American way of life,” continued Pelosi. Dr. Fauci had this to say about his groundbreaking performance, “You know, I hope it inspires more people to become doctors that can grow up to continually lie to the American people about the origins of global pandemics.”
Industry insiders said that they don’t expect either person to take home the top prize at next year’s Emmy Awards. Instead the consensus winner was Kanye West’s performance in his short film, The making of an Uncle Tom: Kanye West and the White Lives Matter movement. Tune in to the primetime Emmys next September to find out who will win the coveted best actor/actress in the Outstanding Fake News category.
