New York City, NY - The set of the ABC talk show The View became contentious when controversial host Whoopi Goldberg repeatedly referred to a UC Berkeley student as “they/them” instead of the person’s preferred pronouns, xe/xer, on Monday.
“I just want to know what they’re learning about these days in college,” said Goldberg to her fellow host’s shock and dismay. Joy Behar chimed in to chastise Whoopi, “there you go using that slur again, didn’t you hear xem? Xe prefer neo-pronouns Whoopi, get with the times you bigot.”
The Gender Studies student, Bradleigh, originally appeared on the show to explain why they’re thriving by living at home with their parents. “I just want to put my Gender Studies degree to good use by yelling at people on Twitter,” said Bradleigh as Whoopi was seen profusely apologizing to the woke mob in the audience in the background.
