Sam Bankman-Fried seen rehearsing his lines for upcoming show trial

Washington, DC - FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried was seen doing vocal warmups and rehearsing his lines for his upcoming show trial in front of the House Financial Services Committee. The disgraced crypto mogul was overheard saying, "Unique New York, unique New York, I need, I know, unique New York," in an attempt to prepare for his performance in front of his good friend, Rep. Maxine Waters.

"I think I might be a little rusty on opening night," said Bankman-Fried, referring to the show trial that will most likely begin in January. "I have a bunch of friends on the Financial Services Committee, so it takes a lot of the pressure off knowing that they're all rooting for me," continued the business mogul.

Rep. Maxine Waters, who will oversee the Committee hearings, was overheard saying that she has high hopes for her friend's upcoming performance. "I think we could be looking at a few Primetime Emmy's for our boy, Sam Bankman-Fried when everything is said and done," said Rep. Waters. "Let me be clear: this is going to be the show trial of the centruy. You might even think it's the real thing every once in a while."
