Washington, DC - Video editors at the Democratic National Committee were busy all night refining an hour long speech into a quick 10 minute video. They accomplished this task by deleting all of the numerous pauses, breaks, and trailing off comments made by Biden during his State of the Union address last night.
“Once we got rid of all of the ‘uhs’ and ‘ums’ it really came together into a semi-coherent speech about American ideals,” said a videographer from the White House on Wednesday. “We even left in a few applause breaks to mix it up a little, and even then there’s only like eight minutes of real content in that speech.”
Overall the speech was exactly what we expected: mostly “good” news about the state of the American economy, and comments about unity followed immediately by attacks on the GOP and conservatives in general.
