FBI agents take turns removing their “Don’t Tread on Me” tattoos after infiltrating Proud Boys for January 6th protest

Washington, DC - Following official reports that suggest as many as 8 FBI agents were able to infiltrate the Proud Boys prior to the January 6th Capitol protests, several agents were seen attempting to remove their “Don’t Tread on Me” and “These colors don’t run” tattoos on Wednesday morning.

“Dude, you should have seen it, I had these Proud Boys believing that I hacked Ted Cruz’s Twitter account”, one agent was overheard bragging to his coworkers. Other FBI agents were observed removing confederate flag bumper stickers from their cars and scrubbing their Facebook profiles of any damning evidence that they were “members” of the Proud Boys.

It remains to be seen what kind of role the FBI informants played in the January 6th Capitol protests, but their presence in the organization certainly brings up questions about how much agents knew prior to the Capitol protests.
