San Francisco, CA - Parents who attended the annual Thanksgiving Pride parade were irate that the event didn’t feature a children’s drag show performance. “I just think that in this day and age, we need to expose children to explicit sexual images” one mother of four was quoted following the conclusion of the parade.
“I mean, they have dancing dragsters at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, how is New York City more woke than San Francisco?” Attendees were assured that there would be a dedicated children’s drag reading hour, but that wasn’t enough to make up for the fact that no performers were suggestively dancing in the presence of minors during the parade.
“It’s really a shame that I didn’t get to force my child to be exposed to such adult themes before they’re at an age where they can process the trauma,” said one suburban mom with blue hair and a nose ring.
