Athens, GA - Greg Stevenson was grinning from ear to ear at a press conference in his Georgia garage on Monday. “Yea, I’m pulling out all the stops this year for our anniversary, the Mrs. is going to be completely shocked,” Stevenson told the press while breaking open his piggy bank.
“Here she comes! Don’t tell her about my romantic plans involving the International House of Pancakes!” said Stevenson as his wife descended the stairs. When they were leaving for brunch, Mr. Stevenson was seen giving a big thumbs up as he held the door open for his wife to get in the car.
At publishing time, it was reported that Mrs. Stevenson was quoted as saying, “My stars, I’ve never been treated to such an eloquent meal… my brunch had 6 eggs in it! I don’t know how we’ll ever afford to send the little ones to college now.”
