After finding a map on the back of Declaration of Independence, Bernie Sanders no longer supports redistribution of wealth

The back of Mount Rushmore, SD - After following the map on the back of the Declaration of Independence, Bernie Sanders finally found the legendary Knights Templar treasure that was the basis for the movie National Treasure, starring Nicolas Cage. “It’s real, and it’s all mine”, the Democratic Senator from Vermont said to himself as he examined a priceless gold coin.

When he returned from his excursion across the country, the Senator had to hide his newfound treasure in a Uhaul that was weighed down by 15,000 gold coins, each worth more than $30,000 USD.

Upon his return, Senator Sanders got to work writing his new bill, entitled “The Anybody should be able to bury their hidden treasure in their backyard and not report the earnings to the IRS Act of 2023”. It seems that Senator’s platitudes about income disparity stop short of hidden treasures beyond our comprehension.

When asked about his plans for the future, Senator Sanders replied that he had “big plans to build enough mansions in Vermont to store all of his newly acquired gold that had nothing to do with the Knights Templar.”
