A group of woke activists is demanding that all trees be cut down in order to prevent bird racism. The activists claim that birds of color are discriminated against by larger, white birds when it comes to access to food and nesting sites.
"We need to take action to dismantle systemic racism in the bird kingdom," said one activist. "The best way to do that is to cut down all of the trees, so that all birds are forced to live on the ground together."
The activists' proposal has been met with skepticism by some bird experts.
"Cutting down all of the trees would be a disaster for birds," said one expert. "It would deprive them of food and nesting sites, and it would also make them more vulnerable to predators."
But the activists are undeterred. They say that they are willing to sacrifice the well-being of all birds in order to achieve their goal of racial equality.
"We know that our proposal is radical," said one activist. "But we believe that it is necessary to create a more just and equitable world for all birds."
