Atlanta, GA - Southwest Airlines spokesperson Carl Johnson was quick to ask for “aviation amnesty” following a disastrous holiday season for the airline in which thousands of Americans were stranded at airports.
“Look, y’all were willing to overlook doctors and the political elite telling you that you’re a bad person if you didn’t get the Fauci ouchey, so I think Southwest deserves some slack as well,” said Johnson during a press conference. He was quick to add that there was a winter storm that caused major delays to other airlines over the Holidays.
A reporter from Fox News was quick to chime in, “We haven’t forgiven them for lying to us for two years, and we won’t be quick to forgive Southwest either.” The reporter added that, “even Spirit Airlines had it’s crap together, what happened to you Southwest?” The Southwest spokesperson was observed handing out travel vouchers to everyone in attendance following the press conference.
