Nicolas Cage says he has no plans to “literally steal” the 2024 election

Hollywood, CA - After Hillary Clinton put out a video where she accused the GOP of planning to, “literally steal the next election,” famed actor Nicolas Cage found himself in the media spotlight. The 58 year old actor took to Twitter to defend himself and promised that he would never steal another American artifact to pursue his passion of treasure hunting.

“Look, I know what everyone is thinking. I’ve already stolen the Declaration of Independence, but that was a movie,” said Cage. “That wasn’t real life. I want to reiterate that I have no current plans to literally steal the upcoming presidential election. If I did, I certainly wouldn’t tell you about it because you’d beat me to the treasure.”

Nicolas Cage played Benjamin Franklin Gates in the beloved Disney movie, National Treasure, where he was also guilty of kidnapping the President of the United States. After careful scrutiny from the Secret Service, it appears that the Hollywood actor doesn’t have any schemes concocted that would present a national security or election fraud risk.
