Cedar Rapids, IA - A local mother of two was disheartened to learn that her daughter’s kindergarten teacher was focusing more on morals, ethics, and inclusivity at the detriment of her daughter’s overall education on Monday.
Speaking to the school board, the sarcastic mother said, “Thank God I don’t have to worry about my daughter having a basic understanding of shapes, counting numbers, or understanding the order of the alphabet. I don’t know what I would do if my 7 year old didn’t know about the issues of racism, misogyny, and class struggle in geopolitics.”
Apparently not understanding that the mother of two was being facetious, school board members responded approvingly of the kindergarten teacher, and emphasized that parents can expect a plethora of lesson plans focused on inclusivity, diversity, and equity, rather than basic principles that every student needs in order to succeed in life.
To close the meeting, the mother said, “Gee, I can’t WAIT for my daughter to be a carbon copy of her blue-haired, Communist teacher.” At publishing time the mom emphasized how “glad” she is that her daughter is being indoctrinated into the liberal establishment, and that she would “definitely” not be looking into homeschooling as soon as possible.
