St. Louis, MO - A spokesperson for Anheuser Busch said on Thursday that they were reviving the classic Bud Light ad - Real Men of Genius, but this time with a new progressive twist to the ad campaign.
“We’re excited to announce that the ‘Real Men of Genius’ classic ad has been updated to reflect the current sentiments of Democrats in power by replacing Men with They/Them,” said the spokesperson for the alcoholic beverage brand.
“We know that Bud Light has taken a beating in the past few weeks thanks to the Dylan Mulvaney controversy, and we’ve been listening to customer feedback and carefully considered our next strategic move for advertising… and then we chose to completely ignore that feedback and we doubled down to make Bud Light the most woke brand out there. We stand with Chik fil A and Target in their efforts to make the most hated brand in America.”
