VP Kamala Harris excited for more drug hypocrisy policies

Washington, DC - Following the announcement that the president will grant mass federal marijuana pardons to some non-violent drug offenders, former tough-on-crime Vice President Kamala Harris was seen desperately attempting to change the background on her phone to a picture of Bob Marley. “Is this that Marley fellow?” Harris was heard asking an aide shortly before speaking at a Texas Democratic Party reception last week.

The aide was visibly annoyed when he had to correct the Vice President, “No, that’s just a picture of a marijuana plant.” The Vice President was seen looking at her phone in confusion moments before delivering remarks to Democratic voters. “The bottom line is nobody should have to go to jail for smoking weed,” Harris said before a crowd of Texas Democrats.

“Let’s hope they never look into my past on weed”, Kamala was heard saying to an aide following the speech. During her tenure as California’s attorney general, Harris put nearly 2,000 people behind bars for non-violent drug offenses. As a prosecutor for San Francisco, Kamala Harris made sure that people eligible for drug diversion programs were instead imprisoned for their drug crimes.
