Volodymyr Zelensky fears that Western aid for Ukraine could be diverted to Israel.
The Ukrainian president made his first visit to NATO's headquarters in Brussels since Russia invaded his country in February 2022 as he looks to shore up support for the war-torn nation following Hamas' attack on Israel.
When asked if Kyiv was concerned that aid could go to Israel, Zelensky said: "Of course, everybody's afraid.
"Who knows how it will be? I think nobody knows."
Zelensky has earlier said: "We need air defence, artillery and ammunition. We need to push Russia out of our land."
NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg sought to reassure the Ukrainian leader at the beginning of the two-day meeting.
He told Zelensky: "Your fight is our fight, your security is our security, and your values are our values."
Members of the military alliance also dismissed suggestions that the conflict in Israel would see military aid for Ukraine reduced
