Anti-Trump gay activist and Democratic Party official Matthew Inman has been arrested on federal child porn charges.
Inman, 39, is the Orange County Democratic Party treasurer and also served as the president of the Rainbow Democrats, which aims to foster good relations between LGBTQ+ members, the Democratic Party, and the community.
In 2024, he attended the Democratic National Convention (DNC) as a party delegate of the Congressional District 9. He describes himself as an anti-Trumper, and announced his support for Kamala Harris at the DNC. He said it was time to stop Trump’s Project 2025, which he said would be “disastrous in so many ways and the beginning of the end.”

Ironically, Inman’s political career might have witnessed the beginning of the end after he was slapped with serious child sexual abuse charges.
The defendant is accused of receiving and saving child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of adults assaulting children on his phone between August and October of 2024.
In October 2024, he traveled to Las Vegas while communicating with an undercover officer posing as the father of a nine-year-old boy. Inman allegedly expressed his interest in assaulting the minor and sent child p*rn to the undercover officer.
